Jeff Manion (jeffmanion.org) is the senior pastor of Ada Bible Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he has served for over thirty years, and is the author of The Land Between and Satisfied. His great joy is digging deeply into Scripture and passionately teaching the story of the Bible in a clear and relevant way. Jeff enjoys running, cycling, and hiking. He and his wife, Chris, have three adult children.

Worth The Read

Jeff Manion has written a great read with 'Satisfied'. We live in a world that is consumption driven, and 'Satisfied' is a re-awaking to the blessing of living a more balanced life. We don’t have to live in debt and we don’t have to make as our goal of life to accumulate of more and more stuff. Jeff deals with accumulation as it relates to the empty soul and has some great insight on what true contentment really is. He teaches that we don’t have to equate our self-worth with our net worth. Part 3, Identity Shift is very inspiring chapter as it talks about our adoption and new identity in Christ. In Christ we are given a new reality and a new identity. Jeff’s book is a great read and a great addition to my library.
