I bought this book for my 6 year old grandaughter because she LOVES horses.
She LOVED this story, it kept her attention and the pictures were well drawn.
This story is for all children.

Fantastic book for anyone!

This is a terrific book! As with all I Can Read books, the language is geared for the early reader. What kid doesn't dream of a horse?
As for the "Christian propaganda" comment, the comment is propaganda, and I'm sorry for the writer.
Can't we all simply read and leave our prejudices behind?

A Horse Named Bob

This book is great for my daughters. It is easy enough for my 5 and 6 year olds but still enjoyable for my 8 year old. It is consistent with the values we are trying to instill in our children. I especially like Jen's dad's instruction to be nice to Mrs. Gray even when she isn't nice back.
I would recommend this book and plan to purchase the rest of the series.
