the best account of the life of christ i have ever read

i found gire's writing style to be both prolific and beautiful. i would re-read sentences and paragraphs many times over in order to fully digest and absorb the profound meanings and to experience the moments he was describing as intensely as was intended. i have never been quite so affected by a devotional, it is a gift from above!
