Gloria Gaither is an award-winning lyricist, author, scriptwriter, former adjunct professor of songwriting at Anderson University, recording artist with the celebrated Gaither Trio for thirty years, mother, and grandmother. Gloria has written My Father's Angels and Ordinary Baby, Extraordinary Gift for Zonderkidz, as well as Because He Lives, Let's Make a Memory, 365 Meditations for Mothers, What My Parents Did Right, and Let's Hide the Word, plus numerous magazine articles. Gloria and her husband, Bill, live in Alexandria, Indiana.
Kristina Stephenson is a writer, illustrator and designer. She works predominantly in the fields of Children's Publishing and Children's Television. She lives in Salisbury in the UK with her musician husband and children.

Need more children CD's from the Gaither's

This is good stuff and comes from the tracks of an original LP that we all enjoyed growing up in the 70s but it is just as fresh today. The children's voices were so tight and polished, obviously due to the inspiration of Bill & Gloria Gaither and Gary McSpadden. Well, I had my chance when they came to Jacksonville-Fla a couple of years ago. While Mr Gaither was heading to his dressing room during the intermission, I strode beside him and sang a few bars, mimicking his baritone/bass, "Let all the little children praise the Lord." He smiled. Then, he stopped and turned around and said, "You're going WAY back." Well, Jesus got a hold of my life and He won't let me go.
So, I've tried to reach out again to him and take the opportunity to ask him to please re-issue these. There are atleast two albums, but there is one in particular that was really good. So, not to take any chances: make them all available again on CD. I actually found some available through my church book store on cassette and I thought that they were re-released, so I purchased them all and gave each away to the kids in our choir and then I found out that they have been sitting on the shelf of this warehouse for years, but now they were gone for good. One of the vocal band members joked at this concert that the Veteran's Memorial Coliseum itself would fit in Bill's living room, so I know that he/you can get this done. Please, please release this again for the children's sake, and for us young at heart.

I was disappointed with this product. The book is OK, but the CD that comes along with it, which I expected to have the entire "I Am a Promise" song, only plays a few lines of the song....

An old song with memories attached!

I had an old LP by the Gaithers when I was a child with this song on it. So when I saw this title, I immediately wanted to look inside. And it was worth the look. Beautiful illustrations to match a beautiful message. My kids loved the story and wanted it read over and over. I highly recommend it!
