Such a Sweet Book!
By Michelle in MI
We received this book as a gift when my daughter was baptized, and it was in heavy rotation from about 9 months to 3 years old. There was one point where she wanted it read every day! The illustrations are very well done and are interesting for a child to look at (hiding bugs, cats, dogs, bunnies, etc.) and the story rhymes. The gist of the book is that God has created flowers, sunshine, water, animals, friends and family. This book is not slanted toward any denomination, so it would be suitable for many different faith backgrounds.

FAVORITE children's book
By Jennifer
This book is a FAVORITE at our house. We have read this book many many times to our girls. Great book to give as gift for Baptism/Dedication or for a 1st birthday maybe? I cannot tell you how wonderful this book is and how much my girls love to read this story. Even though they've memorized the words... they love to "read" a long with me. GREAT Christian Children's Books are sometimes hard to find. You will not be disappointed with this one. This is a durable book too.

Excellent Artwork
By James Shinabery
Our kids love this book. Not only is the story have a Biblical message but the artwork is amazing. Every time we read the book we find new things to look at. The artist did an excellent job putting in little details that are not necessary, but definitely add another dimension to the page. The clematis climbing up the lamp post in the front yard, the frogs and toads throughout and inch worms hiding in the foliage are fun to for the kids to find. On one page the story talks of smelling the roses, the artist added roses, pansies, irises and other flowers, which really adds to the visual appeal of the story.
