Great Series Even With It's Faults

My six year old loved the series. Reading it out-loud to him while doing the voices I'm sure helped. The humor is made-for-TV-family-movie in it's style. Makes adults role their eyes while the kids laugh. The writing falls into the okay category but then it is written for kids. Book four remains as exciting as the first three and paced well for little kids. There are elements of the story that are scary but since it is a book my son had no issues with it.
The revelation of who Elisha is was no surprise to me but it was interesting to teach my son about what will happen in the future. The ending has closure but still has an aspect that is open-ended.
Spiritually the story was strong and that's why the book and series received the five star rating. Our heroes learned to trust in Jesus Christ even though they are being raised in a Christian home.
I would like to see the publishing house combine all four books into one. Each one is very short which makes the series way more expensive then it should be.
Overall the series is highly recommended for the younger kids through pre-teen.

Wonderful Series for Kids

The Chamber of Lies, Book 4 of The Elijah Project, has the family racing to the rescue of Elijah. Shadow Man has plans for him - plans to turn him away from God and to serve his master.
This plan includes trapping Elijah in the Chamber of Lies and giving him whatever he desires.
However, with each vision/dream giving to persuade him away from God, Elijah ends up turning them into a chance to glorify Him.
Piper and Zach, along with their parents and friends, Cody and Willard do all they can to help Elijah but, for the kids, they get trapped in the Chamber as well.
Will they be able to stave off the Shadow Man's tricks or will Elijah have to make a sacrifice for them?
You finally find out what purpose Elijah is to have in the days to come, but the series doesn't really come to an end with this book. Hopefully there will be more as Myers can explore the story further.
Great kid's series by the writer who knows Spiritual Warfare.

10 year old who hates to read devoured this book

I needed a book that my 10 year old step son (ENFP personality type) would read and at least enjoy enough to get high points on his AR reading test. He devoured this book and aced the test.
To know Bill Myers writes with a biblical basis also helps me feel comfortable in the content of what is being read.
